Gambling as a Co-occurring Disorder and Current Data

This 2 hour virtual training will include the overview of gambling, features in games that resemble gambling, defining problem gambling, Connecticut prevalence, gambling prevention resources and information on the Regional Gambling Awareness Teams. 

 Learning Objectives:   

1.       Compare the similarities and differences between gambling and substance misuse behaviors and brain biology  

2.       Describe the co-occurring nature between mental health and gambling 

3.       Identify and review emerging trends and current national, state, regional and local data that is available
